Russia lost half of the tour operators
The number of tour operators working in Russia in the field of outbound tourism, with last year fell by half. 1 of the circumstances - the falling demand for tours.
"On a number of circumstances almost half of the firms that worked in the past year, in this quarter is not going to work," stated Executive Director of the Association of tour operators of Russia Maya Lomidze. According to her, the main motivation was the General state of the economy, the fall in demand for travel and the difficulties in obtaining financial guarantees.

"And it's bad for the market in the end, for the following reasons the trust has been lost," explained Lomidze. To the question about the ability of the state support of tour operators she replied: "Operators for outbound tourism in any country of the world with the government support is not in use, and it is natural".
At the same time the head of the Federal tourism Agency Oleg Safonov has declared that the reduction in the number of domestic travelers traveling to another state in 2015, due to particular attention that the management powers given to development of domestic tourism in Russia. He stressed that the Agency will seek to further adjust the ratio of incoming and domestic tourism.
