The head of the Odessa regional Department of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine will be appointed a former Deputy head of the Georgian interior Ministry Giya Lordkipanidze, reports on the first day of the week Ukrainian citing a source in law enforcement bodies of the region.

Lordkipanidze worked as Deputy Minister, when Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili, may 30, appointed by the Odessa Governor. Saakashvili said that he is planning a complete upgrade of power in the area and wants to fire the heads 24 of the 27 districts.

Saakashvili left Georgia after the inauguration of the new President Giorgi Margvelashvili in November 2013. The chief Prosecutor's office of Georgia in absentia charged him in several criminal cases, as well as among them of embezzlement of about $ 5 million of state funds for personal needs. Later Saakashvili was declared wanted in Georgia. He previously stated that he wants to return to power together with its own team on the results of the elections of 2016.
