Champion of Russia in karate killed by shock


Multiple winner of the Championships of Russia on karate Stepan Makarov died in consequence of the accident. In your own home in the Novosibirsk region, the athlete received a fatal electric shock.

"21-year-old Stephen died in consequence of the incident in his own yard from electric shock", - is told in the news karate Federation of Russia. The organization expresses its condolences to the family and friends of the athlete.

According to reliable information of the Novosibirsk press, the cause of death of Makarov were the bare wires dangling from the poles of a high voltage in the yard of his home in the village of Tolmachevo. In consequence of that break the line of the power cable, is unknown.

Stepan Makarov was born 23 may 1994. He graduated with a gold medal Tolmachevsky high school. Two-time favourites of superiority of Russia on karate, sports instructor-professional club "Soyuz". Played for the Novosibirsk region in the weight category over 84 kg. In 2012, Stepan received the title of master of sport in karate.

"I put a great amount of effort to achieve his goal. The standard of master of sports I played many times, but for a long time, for various reasons, it is not appropriated. Despite this, I continued to train hard, win the competition and now got it's rightful title," - said Makarov then.
