The Ukrainian authorities expect in the near future the decision on the tranche of the IMF
The Ukrainian government has signed and sent to the International monetary Fund (IMF) letter of cooperation and expect that the Fund's Board of Directors in the near future will be able to accept the conclusion on the allocation of Kiev next tranche 1, 7 billion dollars, said on his page in Facebook Deputy Minister of Finance of Ukraine Artem Shevelev.
As informs Shevelev, head Petro Poroshenko, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Minister of Finance Natalia Jaresko and the head of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeria Gontareva signed a letter of intent in respect of the Memorandum on economic and financial policy in the first review of the expanded programme of payment, international monetary Fund and sent it to the managing Director of the IMF ".
"so, we expect the Fund's Board of Directors in the near future will be able to make a decision on the allocation of Ukraine of the next tranche under the program (1, 7 billion dollars), he will go entirely to the strengthening of foreign exchange reserves of the NBU," - says the official.
last week, the Ukrainian Parliament adopted a package of laws necessary for receiving financial assistance from the IMF, world Bank, Japan and Germany for a total of 3, 2 billion dollars. Kiev hopes to receive next IMF tranche in the amount of 1, 7 billion dollars in the last month of summer. Ukraine will also have the opportunity to receive an additional $ 1 billion from the world Bank, 200 million from Germany and $ 300 million from Japan.
