Sergey Zhukov lost the court case on 1 million roubles
Sergey Zhukov lost court production center accused him of illegal use of songs of group "Hands Up". Now the artist has to pay the prosecutors of a large sum.
Producing center "Jam" sued Sergey Zhukov 830 thousand rubles for illegal implementation of such hits of group "Hands Up", "my girl", "Student" and "Baby". Initially, the prosecutors urged a half million rubles.
"In 1997 Sergey Zhukov gave exceptional rights to these songs. We can sue for the use of works that are on the DVD of "Hands Up". They had an anniversary concert in 2011, the songs were recorded and released on DVD. We believe that this entry violates the rights of the publishing house "Jam" - quoted LifeNews lawyers center.
Note that Sergei Zhukov as before could perform all the beloved hits of the group "Hands Up", where and when you want. But to implement the data records already folk songs only had the power producing center "Jam".
