Ukrainian Lomachenko defeated Lasica and defended the title of WBO champion
MOSCOW, Nov 8 - R-Sport. Ukrainian boxer Vasyl Lomachenko knocked out the Mexican Romulo Lasica and defended the title of world champion By assumption WBO Featherweight weight class (up to 57 fifteen kg).
The match, held on the first day weekend in Las Vegas (USA), ended with the victory of 27-year-old Ukrainian knockout in the 10th round. A native of Odessa region for the third time has protected a title of the champion of the world.
Lomachenko, a double Olympic champion and two-time world Amateur champion, was the fifth victory in the professional ring (third knockout) and one defeat. For 24-year-old Lasica this defeat became the fifth in career and the first by Ko in 25 wins.
