British Minister: London will give Ukraine through ICRC, $3 million
London will provide Ukraine with 1, 5 million dollars through the international Committee of the red cross on humanitarian aid for the population of Donbass, and also another 1, 5 million USD for business development, which is designed to employ displaced persons from the Donbas, said the head of the Ministry for international development of the UK Desmond Swain.
"I am pleased today to announce that the UK government handed over 1. 5 million dollars through the international Committee of the red cross, which will specifically assist vulnerable residents on the ground. In addition, an additional 1, 5 million dollars will be allocated to support small and medium-sized enterprises", said Svein on Thursday in Kiev during the opening of the photo exhibition, dedicated to the immigrants from the Donbass.
According to the Minister, this year the UK has provided Ukraine with humanitarian aid to fifteen million pounds.
