Japan has killed 19 people


At least 19 people were killed and 26 injured in an attack by intruders to the site for people with disabilities. The attack occurred West of Tokyo. This tragedy became one of the most deadly mass killings in Japan since the Second world war.
Nine men and 10 women, aged 18 to 70 years, were killed in the attack.

Fellow Satomi Kurihara from the fire Department confirmed the number of deaths at the facility in Sagamihara, residential area, approximately 40 km (25 miles) West of the capital. About 3 a.m., Uematsu appeared at the police station, carrying a bloody knife, said officials. He worked there since 2012. It is unclear what he did there, or he left, or was fired. He was a teacher and former colleagues said he was personable and great with the kids. Neighbors were shocked to learn about his involvement in the incident.

While the motivation for the attack remains unknown, rich reported that the suspect received a letter Japanese legislature outlining the society in which they were allowed euthanasia of the disabled.

Of the 26 people who were injured, 13 of them in serious condition, according to a local official. 10 people received moderate injuries and the remaining 3 people minor injuries. They are treated in several local hospitals.

He added that the government will analyze the information from the city government and police Department.
