In major Yemeni city of Mukalla attack occurred. Was blown up 4 cars. 42 people died, among them 1 child. The attack occurred in Mukalla in the South-Eastern part of port city in the province of Hadramout.

At least 30 people were injured - one of them a security personnel, 5 civilians and 2 officers. Both are in the position of Governor of the province. One of the attacks were aimed at military compound near government buildings intelligence. The others were aimed at military checkpoints. The child was walking near one of the checkpoints when he heard the explosion.

Last month, at least 30 soldiers were killed and dozens injured when a suicide bomber attacked a military base in Mukalla. The bomber approached the main gate of the military base and detonated the bomb when the recruits were next to them.

Yemen has become a battleground for Saudi Arabia and Iran. The Shiites rose up against President Abdu Rabu Mansour Hadi, who all relies on Saudi Arabia. Saudi coalition got involved in March 2015 in the war, launching air strikes in support Hadi against rebel targets in Yemen. Thousands of civilians were killed in the violence. Government forces and Saudi coalition fought against the terrorist groups ISIS and AQAP.
