In California, a riot broke out during the March of neo-Nazis
Ten people were injured after Sunday's fighting broke out during the March of neo-Nazis, authorities said in Sacramento, California. Two of the wounded received critical stab wounds, a spokesman for the fire service Sacramento Chris Harvey.
Nine men and one woman aged from 19 to 58 had received multiple stab wounds. One of the victims refused to go to the hospital, Harvey said. Many others were hospitalized on Sunday evening.
The leader of the party traditionalists, or TPR, which describes them as "white" nationalist group, had permission to hold a rally near the state Capitol. another group of people decided to stop their procession, despite the resolution. A large group of about 300 people located around the Capitol to stop the March of TPR.
People were chasing each other with sticks in his hands. Many wore masks or covered their faces with scarf. The victims had multiple stab wounds, many were in critical condition, said officer Matt McPhail.
"The anti-fascists used knives, bottles, bricks and pieces of concrete. When they attacked, our people were protected to be able to hold the attackers", said the leader of the party of TPR. So far no one has been arrested, authorities said.
On the spot where the fight took place was found loaded firearms, but the police don't know who it belonged to, why it is on the scene. Perhaps the weapon was stolen or lost. Type of firearms were not disclosed.
