Taylor Lautner says it is "easy" to stop fame going to his head
The 18-year-old actor shot to fame when he played werewolf Jacob Black in cult vampire drama Twilight. He is now followed night and day by a huge crowd of paparazzi and screaming fans, but is adamant he won`t follow in the footsteps of other young stars and turn to partying and drugs.
"Stopping success going to your head is just a matter of staying true to yourself and spending time with the people you loves when you`re not working, like your family and friends," he told Top of the Pops magazine. "It`s not that hard!"
Although he misses being able to do "normal" things, Taylor has never once regretted accepting the role in the film franchise. He says the movies have allowed him to spend his time doing the things he loves, namely acting and meeting fans.
"It-s really crazy! I never expected anything like this, but I-m really grateful I-ve been a part of Twilight. This series has given us the chance to do what we love to do and that is to make movies, travel the world and meet all our fans," he explained.
