Madonna is designing a sunglasses range for Dolce & Gabbana
The 51-year-old has already modelled for the luxury fashion house, and features in their latest campaign.
She decided to team up with the label for a range of shades, which all come complete with the letter M on the arm. It is the first time the two designers have ever worked with someone else on pieces.
"We`re so excited. This further strengthens our relationship with Madonna, and it was a very constructive experience for us," Stefano Gabbana told WWD. "She is very exacting and a professional who seeks perfection in everything she does, and this was no exception."
Madonna will star in the adverts for the range. The campaign was shot by Steven Klein, with the pictures borrowing from the film noir genre.
The line is set for release in May, with prices ranging from 180 to 210 Euro. They will be available from Dolce & Gabbana stores across the globe, and also at Sunglasses Hut.
last week, it was announced Madonna is creating her own clothing line inspired by her 13-year-old daughter Lourdes. She is also in talks to launch fragrance and beauty lines in 2011.
