The former Spice Girls singer is famed for her muscular physique, which usually includes rock-hard abs. She admits she has put on weight in recent months, but would never resort to liposuction or other invasive procedures to slim down because she enjoys exercising so much.
"Personally, I wouldn`t like to have liposuction," Mel said. "I enjoy running too much. And I love the feeling of toning up and feeling my body get into shape."
Mel is happy with her body, and isn`t in a rush to return to her super-svelte former physique. She thinks she looks better with a few more curves and plans to exercise to maintain her current look.
"I`m quite curvy. I`m not as ripped as I was six months ago - that was a bit much," Mel said. "I think I look better now."
To ensure her weight doesn`t creep up any more, Mel watches what she eats and exercises no matter where she is. She likes to mix up her work-out regime to make sure she doesn`t get bored and stays focused.
"If I`m travelling, then I try and do a two or three-mile run, but when I`m at home in Los Angeles, I`ll do all sorts of things. I might go for a hike or work out in the gym in my house, do some cardio or weights or a dance class. Sometimes I even do boot-camp classes. I just try and do something every other day," she explained to British magazine New!
