The `Womanizer` hitmaker - who hasn`t brought out a single since `3` in September 2009 - has been working on her seventh studio album since March and now producer Rodney Jerkins has hinted fans may hear the results of recording sessions soon.
He said: "Britney fans are gonna be so happy in a few weeks."
A release date for Britney`s album, the follow up to 2008`s `Circus`, has not yet been set.
However, producer Danja is another person to have worked with Britney on her forthcoming album and recently claimed the record was a long way off being finished.
Speaking about their recording sessions together, he said: "We`re getting things together. I`ve actually been doing tracks that I love and I can`t wait to go into full production mode, but we`re in pre-production more so than anything. We can start one way and end up a totally different way, I really don`t know.
"I`m definitely gonna do my part and try to make it hard-hitting, up-tempo, high-energy; that`s what I think we need and that`s what I`m gonna shoot for."
