Ne-Yo is "nervous" about fatherhood
The `Beautiful Monster` singer is to become a parent with Monyetta Shaw in January and he admits he is excited about the baby, but is also wary of taking on so much responsibility.
He said: "I`m so excited and nervous. It`s amazing - I`m bringing another life into the world. But at the same time, I`m like, `Oh c**p, I`m responsible for another human being.`
"I don`t even buy my own underwear, where am I going to find his?
"But I`m so looking forward to it."
The singer also spoke of his desire to get married, but admits he can`t see it happening any time soon.
He told more magazine: "One day I`ll marry. No time soon though. I feel like that`s so important in life. Finding that one person who makes your life complete.
"But it`s so difficult in my line of work to find someone who wants me for the right reasons.
"At some point I`d love a big wedding. My mum would never let me have a small one. It would have to be the biggest, most extravagant thing to ever happen to me."
Despite expecting a baby with Monyetta, Ne-Yo recently insisted she isn`t his girlfriend.
He said: "I have a friend. Not a girlfriend. She`s carrying my child but knows I can`t commit. She doesn`t mind other women."
