Zsa Zsa Gabor is eating again

The ailing 93-year-old Hollywood legend - who has been in and out of hospital since suffering from two blood clots following hip surgery in July - is showing some signs of recovery but still requires the ongoing support of a team of nurses.

Her husband Prince Frederick von Anhalt told German magazine Bunte: "She is eating. She eats like a bird, though. Only mash and Jello Jelly. From time to time she drinks a bit of orange juice as well. My Zsa Zsa is and will remain a nursing case."

Despite her fragile state, the actress` spouse is determined she will receive the best care possible.

He added: "My wife should get all the medical luxury available. Everything here belongs to her. She has worked hard for it and now everything is used for her recovery and wellbeing."

Zsa Zsa underwent a hip replacement after falling out of bed earlier in the year, and at one point, a priest was even called in to read the star her last rites.

Prince Frederick recently revealed he wants his wife`s body to be plastinated and put on show when she dies so her beauty will last forever.

He said: "My wife has always dreamt that her beauty would be immortal. I would like to show the plastinated body of Zsa Zsa Gabor in the context of a scene in one of her films."
