THE HAGUE, November 3 - Russian President Vladimir Putin ended his visit to the Netherlands on Wednesday.
In a solemn official ceremony at the Royal Noordeinde Palace, which was turned into an official residence of the Russian president for his two-day visit, QueenBeatrix bade farewell to Putin. The orchestra played the national anthems of the two countries.
The president and the queen inspected the guards of honour.
After the ceremony, Putin and his wife, Lyudmila, left for the airport, accompanied by Crown Prince Willem-Alexander and Foreign Minister Ben Bot.
