Pamela Anderson wants to become a UN goodwill ambassador
The former `Baywatch` actress is keen to put her fame and power to good use by joining the United Nations to help those less fortunate than her as she always does her best to highlight social problems.
The keen animal rights activist said: "An aspiration of mine since I started in this business is to one day fulfil the role of goodwillambassador to the UN. I`ve always thought this was a romantic, interesting element of stardom, back to the days of Audrey Hepburn.
"I`ve always included social issues as well as animal issues in whatever country I`m visiting - no matter how trivial the job may seem. I use the possibilities and opportunities I`m blessed with to bring awareness, which makes me feel great. It brings meaning to my career in a unique way."
Pamela says she has a lot of views and opinions on the world and is disappointed she never gets asked them.
She said: "If I could interview myself, I`d ask the questions I never get asked - my political views, views on art, culture, the world. Poignant writers. Global issues that I have strong opinions about. We`ll get there."
