Moldavian students not to study sexual subject any more
Moldavian Ministry of Education cancelled the subject "Sex upbringing" at schools.
Books of the subject "Skills of life" also disappeared from school libraries.
As the officials of Ministry informed the program of sexual education was introduced in Moldavian schools since the country entered the European Union. It was obligatory to study sexual subject at school.
However all the details written in the books shocked Moldavian society. As the Moldavian metropolitan Vladimir declared: "The subject has nothing in common with Christian morality".
A lot of times Moldavian inhabitants and church appealed to the Ministry of Education to cancel the program.
As a result the subject turned into an elective course.
