$5.2 milliards for reconstruction works after earthquake in Pakistan
Council of Pakistani premier-minister on financial questions Salman Shah announced that these estimates were made by experts of World-wide and Asian development banks.
Estimates include expanses on reconstruction of destroyed buildings, roads and infrastructure (about $ 3.5 milliards), and also help to victims and compensation to injured and to families of dead. According to this information, top-priority reconstruction of social infrastructure will cost $1,552 milliards, renewal of medical system - $303 millions and educational - $472 millions.
Salman Shah noted that these estimates are tentative and final sum can increase after the end of estimates in regions difficult to access.
By his words, about 5.7 millions of people live in regions of mountainous Pakistan; about 3 millions of them remained without shelter.
Estimates were made on the threshold of international conference of help to Pakistan which will take place in Islamabad on November 19.
