Prosecutors want Lindsay Lohan to serve 245 days in prison
The `Liz & Dick` actress failed to appear in court in Los Angeles on 12.12.12 on three charges, including lying to police about a traffic accident in the summer - where her probation was revoked and prosecutors are seeking a lengthy stay in jail for her.
A source told RadarOnline: "Prosecutors are going after Lindsay with a vengeance because of her flagrant disregard for the law. The LA City Attorney`s office will present evidence to Commissioner Jane Godfrey that Lindsay has a long storied history of lying to cops. Prosecutorswant Commissioner Godfrey to sentence Lindsay to 245 days behind bars for the probation violation."
The 26-year-old troubled starlet was arraigned on Wednesday on charges that she lied to police about being behind the wheel of a car when it crashed in June on the Pacific Coast Highway.
Lindsay has been on probation since being found guilty of stealing a necklace in July 2011, for which she was sentenced to 120 days in prison and 480 hours of community service.
The actress - who has been arrested six times and spent 203 days in rehab - was previously said to believe that police have a "vendetta to bring her down" because they were allegedly pushing for her to be jailed for lying about the crash.
Lindsay claimed she wasn`t driving her Porsche during the accident, but several eyewitnesses insisted she was behind the wheel.
