The `Les Miserables` actress has developed a passion for art and finds the pursuit so relaxing, she has dedicated an entire room in her Los Angeles house to her new hobby.
She said: "I`ve been painting my butt off. Watercolours. Abstract art. I have a room devoted to that medium. I literally will sit for hours and hours and hours and listen to a book on tape and paint."
However, the 27-year-old beauty will soon have to temporarily shelve her hobby as she is to shoot comedy Western `A Million Ways to Die in the West` in Santa Fe with Seth MacFarlane and Charlize Theron.
She told the USA Today newspaper: "I am his girlfriend in the beginning, he`s trying to win me back throughout the whole movie. I haven`t done a comedy in awhile."
Painting is a much more conventional hobby for Amanda than one of her other interests - collecting taxidermy animals.
She admitted recently: "My favourite is Anton, my stuffed miniature horse. When I was last in LA, my sister took a photo of me with my `animals` on the sofa, surrounded by dead horses, foxes and rabbits."
