The first Russian President will not be able to visit the Kremlin Cup - the world tennis tournament, which is held every year in autumn in Moscow.
Eltsin will not cheer for Russian sportsmen in the Olympic sports center because his leg didn-t heal yet after the surgery.
As the chief of Eltsin surroundings Shevchenko says: "Eltsin is such a person that he will try to recover as soon as possible so that he can take part in all the events".
The first president broke his leg on September 7 in Italy. On September 8 he got surgery in Moscow.
Shevchenko informs that according to medical conclusion the surgery was successful and now Eltsin does his best to recover. He tries to walk a lot so that his leg will be cured faster.
The Kremlin Cup will go off from October 8 till October16.
Eltsin is the tennis-fancier and he always tries to be present at all the tennis tournaments of Kremlin Cup. Last year he congratulated the tennis player Anastasia Myskina, who became the first Russian tennis winner in the Kremlin Cup.
