"Yulia" to be released soon
The most expected Russian project of this year is not advertised super action such as "9th unit" or "Turkish gambit", but modest 26-minute long film "Yulia", recorded in new genre "political erotica". The main characters are Ukrainina business-woman Yulia with famous braid and eminent Georgian Misha. It is easy to see ex-premier minister of Ukraine Yulia Timoshenko and president of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili. Film is based on their secret love affair in near-Moscow residence, where they solve important political questions.
Initiator of "Yulia" creation is delegate of State Duma Alexey Mitrofanov. He created scenario and financed the project. Role of Yulia was meant for participant of "Dom-2" reality show, St.Petersburg porn star Elena Berkova, originated from Ukraine. But she had to refuse from shootings because her parents, who live in Ukraine, started to threaten her. Finally Berkova was substituted by scandal model and singer Elena Bond. The leading male role was played by Armenian actor Alen Melik-Grigoryan.
As soon as shootings of film have started, it became the center of all leading world mass media. Film was declared pornography, and its authors - perverts. Especially violent was reaction of Georgian and Ukrainian politicians. Film was considered as dangerous provocation which can lead to international scandal. The producer of "Yulia" was even attacked near his office as well as shooting group that collected material for plot of the film.
The second series of film will start soon. The plot will be based on wedding of Timoshenko`s daughter and English rock-musician Shone Karr. Elena Berkova will play the role of daughter, and her fiance will be leader of "Metal corrosion" Sergey "Spider".
