Nogovitsin: Utilization of parts of SU-27 will be realized by Russian side.
A question about transfer of parts of the fighter SU-27 to Russia from Lithuanian officials will be decided in next few days.
The second-in-command of Air Force of Russia colonel-general Anatoly Nogovitsin said to journalists.
"The utilization of parts will be made by Russian side and Lithuania doesn?t object to it. I think that the transfer will be realized in few days", said Nogovitsin while he was on Chkalovskii aerodrome near Moscow. Valerii Troyanov who piloted SU-27 arrived there on Friday evening.
The general added that investigation and utilization will be made by specialists. The reason is that parts of SU-27 "contain kilograms of gold and platinum".
Nogovitsin corroborated that a decision about further service of Troyanov will be made only after medical inspection. "The main thing now is medicine. Ejection is always stress situation." - explained general.
He added that after all necessary documents will be prepared Troyanov will return from his disposition to Moscow where will be a medical investigation for him in central military hospital.
On the question why Troyanov arrived to Moscow Nogovitsin explained that this plane is accompanying for him.
