48 tons of drinking water delivered to Khabarovsk from Vladivostok
On Monday 48 tons of drinking water have been delivered to Khabarovsk from Vladivostok. "Clean water will be send to social institutions, first of all to children?s homes, boarding schools, orphanages, maternity hospitals and children`s hospital", - informed on Monday plenipotentiary in Far East Federal region?s assistant Alexandr Drozdov. In the Primoriye settlement Gornye Klyuchi another party of bottled clean water - 11 thousand bottles - are ready to be send to Khabarovsk children?s homes, kindergartens, retirement homes. In the nearest future humanitarian cargo will be delivered to the places of destination. Chemical pollution of a tributary of Amur - the Sungari river - took place as a result of the accident at one of chemicals plants in China on November 13. For the period of the zone of pollution passing Khabarovks water supply is to be stopped. The water for people will be delivered in cisterns. According to the Dalgidromet?s specialists forecast, chemicals from the Chinese river Sungari are to mix with the Amur waters not earlier than on December 9-11.
