Donors are dangerous in USA
In New-York three people were infected by the fever called west-nil.
As the officials say three people were infected through the transplanted organs.
The person whose organs were transplanted died in August because of the brain injury. His organs - kidney, liver and lung were transplanted to three patients.
After the surgery the patients who got transplanted liver and lung fell into coma. The doctors took the analysis from the third person. The results showed that he had the infection of west-nil.
According to the Department of public health the donor lived in Bronx, near the park where a lot of mosquitoes were spreading this infection. In case of transplanting organs it?s not obligatory to check the organs for west-nil fever.
From 2002 it?s the second case when the reason of infection is the infected organ of a donor.
