Bible translated into the language of SMS.
This translation was made with the purpose of making easier for young people to understand the Bible language.
The beginning was following: "In da Bginnin God cre8d da heavens & da earth"
As the representative of The Australian Bible Association Michael Chant says all 31173 bible verses can be downloaded on the cell phone. And besides the text can be sent to another mobile phone.
The chief of the Bible Association Jeorge Rodriges says: "It?s a very clever step. The purpose of our society is to make Bible easy and interesting for reading for young people"
The translation into the SMS language was done by Rodriges?s son Michal. It took him 6 weeks.
It?s not the first time when people try to make Bible easier. Couple of weeks ago in Great Britain the brief version of Bible appeared. As people say they can read it in two hours.
