Gazprom doubts in guarantee completion of interrupted Russian gas supply to Europe
OJSC "Gazprom" doubts in guarantee completion of interrupted Russian gas supply to Europe, declared Gazprom official Sergei Kuprianov. "There can?t be partial transit guarantees. Ukraine either transports our gas, or don?t", said Kuprianov. Earlier on Tuesday the Fuel and Energy Minister of Ukraine Ivan Plachkov declared, that Ukraine guarantees Russian natural gas transport to Europe, but can`t guarantee the volume of supply to European consumers. Being asked if it meant that Ukraine may start gas extraction from the volumes meant for European consumers, Ivan Plachkov answered: "If Ukraine is going to transport gas, it will earn on it. Ukraine can?t transport gas free of charge, it?s obvious. Otherwise we won`t be able to maintain gas transport system and support gas balance in Ukraine."
