Barroso gives the promise, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine to continue Eurointegration
Maria Knyazeva. The Treaty on the Union does not represent the final stage of the European integration of Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine, said the head of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso before signing agreements between the EU and these countries.
" This agreement is not the end of the cooperation of the EU with its partners. On the contrary, the signing of the unity cannot be interpreted as the end of the road, but as the beginning of the journey that the European Union and 3 partner countries come together today, " said Barroso.
Among the goals of the Treaty on the unity between Ukraine and the EU: the development of the Association, the gradual rapprochement between Ukraine and the EU on the basis of common values, deepening economic and trade relations, strengthening cooperation in the field of justice, freedom and security.
