Rakhmonov gives 10 days to investigate boarding school fire in Dushanbe
Tajik President Emomali Rakhmonov demanded to investigate the case of the boarding school fire in Dushanbe, which caused death of 13 children, and to report the results directly to him.
President`s press-secretary Abdulfatoch Sharipov said that the governmental commission had received such an order at President`s meeting on Monday.
As a result of fire in the boarding school "Choborg" in Dushanbe centre 13 disabled children burnt to death, and two children were hospitalized.
At the moment the main version of the accident cause is ignition because of circuit load.
"President was shocked with this national tragedy - death of 13 children, occurred in Dushanbe on Sunday night because of the officials negligence", said Sharipov.
According to him, vice premier Heirinisso Mavlonova, who headed the governmental commission on fire investigation, Minister of Labour and Social protection Zakira Vazirova and head of the social issues department of President Administration Bobokhon Akhmadov were charged to perform complete attestation of boarding schools personnel, make an analysis of expenditure directed to boarding schools and children?s homes financing, and perform the check up their technical conditions.
Rakhmonov ordered to assign means from special governmental fund for children-orphan?s funerals and for rendering assistance to the families of died children.
