Securities: operations on exchange of currencies, the ruble-yuan in high degree of readiness
Operations on exchange of currencies between Russia and China (currency swaps ruble-yuan) are in high degree of readiness, this week held a meeting with the leadership of the Central Banks of two countries, told reporters the head of the Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina.
the RF Finance Ministry is currently studying the question of the transfer payments on a number of export transactions in rubles on the background of the sanctions of the West against Russia because of its position on Ukraine and the Crimea. Finance Minister Anton Siluanov in the beginning of summer was declared that the Central Banks of Russia and China have the opportunity to come to a consensus on conducting currency swaps for export settlements in national currencies.
" we have quite a high degree of maturity of the swap, the ruble-yuan to facilitate trading of payment. I have a meeting next week trip to China ", - said Nabiullina.
Deputy Minister of industry and trade of the Russian Federation Georgy Kalamanov on the first day of the week said that the Russian Federation and China in the near future have the opportunity to switch to settling on a number of transactions in rubles and yuan.
