"Evroset" takes Belarusian market by storm
"Evroset" began the campaign of destruction of local players in Belarus.
"Evroset" will use technologies that large mobile retailers worked through in Russia: the first step is detection of large consignment of "gray" or "black" mobile phone, then custom house drastically toughen inspections. Market positions of small players become worse and large are permitted to press down on producers prompting them to use a scheme of direct import. The situation in Belarus is like that: yesterday Committee of State Control withdrew 4500 "gray" cell phones and that is a serious blow for local market. By the news customs supervision will be toughened next week. It is interesting that all began when "Evroset" appeared (prices will not grow, "Evroset" is working only with "white" equipment). So, Russian mobile retailer has all the chances get strong positions or maybe even to become a leader on Belarusian market by the end of year. At the same time other large Russian players are just late.
