AvtoVAZ will refuse from foreign parts

By the end of this year the level of localization of Lada will rise from 84% to 90%. "Increase of production localization for me, the main trend", - announced the President of the plant Bo Andersson. Not to mention the fact that the representative of the auto giant said that increasing the value of localization to 90% is provided for most models of the firm. The only exception is the station wagon Lada Largus, built on the platform of Renault, - for him, the figure will increase to 61% by the end of 2014.
Manufacturer data show that last year for the purchase of materials and devices were spent 120,67 billion. What directly component names will reduce imports, the representative of the company does not set. Not told inter alia, on which domestic firms will change foreign partners, inform "Avtovest".
In addition, the Executive Director of "AUTOSTAT" Sergej Udalov and managing partner of EURussia Partner Ivan Bonchev believe that to increase the level of localization will be using a large-scale manufacturers of automotive components, which open production in Russia as well as foreign and local Assembly. Bonchev convinced that the company "AVTOVAZ" hardly will wipe out complex electronics purchased at this time in China and Europe. And 1 from dealers domestic brand explained that "VAZ" expects to change the tire, which has been partially bought in China, Pirelli domestic production, which are produced in the scope of joint production of "Rostechnadzor."
Specialist of "VTB capital" Vladimir Bespalov added that failure on the part of foreign components will allow AVTOVAZ to lower cost risks. At the beginning of the current year in the result of the sudden drop of the rouble increased the cost of imported materials and components.
