International Skating Union has no claims to Tatyana Navka
"InternationalSkatingUnion has no claims to TatyanaNavka. Her participation in Olympiad is beyond any doubt", - informed the president of Russian figure-skating Federation Valentin Piseev.
The head of Federation has told about the accident with Tatyana during European championship in Lyon when Navka seriously cut the arm by skates while performing free dance. She went to hospital immediately after end of completions and was put 9 stitches. Russian figure-skater left notification about doping test to medical representative of ISU Ruben Ambartsumov.
When International Anti-doping Agency got interested in the incident, representative of ISU in Lyon Maria Lundmark informed that she allowed Navka to go to hospital because wound was serious and demanded urgent medical treatment. She also permitted to Navka`s partner Roman Kostomarov to pass procedure of doping control instead of her.
Piseev has noted that he telephoned figure-skaters to New Jersey, where they are training at present moment. "They are not able to perform supports yet but sportsmen are doing fine. There is still time till February 10, when Olympic competitions of dance duets will start. We hope that everything will be all right till this moment", - emphasized the president of Russian figure-skating Federation.
