Kazan drama theatre extinguished for 3 hours
Firemen spent 3 hours for extinguishing of fire in the building of Tatar state theatre of drama and comedy named after Karim Tinchurin.
30 fire fighting units participated in fire extinguishing. There are no victims or wounded as a result of fire, damage is being estimated. By tentative data, fire occurred because of electric wiring malfunction. The back rooms near stage were burning. It was informed earlier that firemen managed to prevent fire spread to the stage and audience hall, and also to the adjacent 4-storied building.
The fire was classified as third category, all three floors of the building were enveloped in flames. The area of theatre is encircled at present moment.
