Part of Georgian arms left South Ossetia
The most part of Georgian servicemen left the village Eredvy which is located on the zone of the conflict between Georgia and Ossetia. The chief of the staff of Combined forces on peace maintenance on the zone of the conflict between Georgia and Ossetia Rem Akimov informed about it.
According to his words six of ten KAMAZ lorries left Eredvy. The remain soldiers don`t show any military activity in the village.
Information about that extended in the evening on 8 February by the head of the Committee of information and press of South Osetia Irina Gagloyeva. Later these data confirmed the Ministry of Defense RF. At the same time the representative of the department emphasized, that the servicemen entered into the zone of conflict in the disturbance of Dagomys agreements of 1992.
The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues to check the information about the appearance of Georgian servicemen in the zone of conflict.
"If the discussion deals with the peacemakers, the Georgian side in accordance with the understandings has a quota of 500 people (in the zone of Georgian- Ossetic conflict). Of course, they can fill it. But in this case there are serious doubts that the discussion deals with the Georgian peacemakers, and not about the subdivision of Goriyskaya brigade, which is located not far from this village. It is necessary to examine that" stated the ambassador on the special commissions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs RF, the cochairman of the Mixed investigation commission for regulating Georgian- Ossetic conflict Valery Kenyaykin.
