Putin to decorate Ukrainian hryvna
Memorable coin with image of Russian president Vladimir Putin will appear in Ukraine in the near future.
As author of the project Valentine Khaletsky informed, the 1 hryvna-coin with Putin`s portrait will be presented in State Duma soon.
"There will be an exhibition of coins in State Duma within 1-2 weeks. The coin should popularize Ukrainian currency in Russia. The draft of coin was sent to Putin and received no objections", - said Khaletsky.
As a reminder, coins with portrait of current president Victor Yushenko, ex-premier-minister Yulia Timoshenko and ex-president Leonid Kuchma have been minted earlier. Ukrainian coin with Putin image is a souvenir and not the currency - one can`t buy bread or lard for it.
