"Rosneft" president served a subpoena on "YUKOS" case
The head of "Rosneft" Sergey Bogdanchikov was served a subpoena to American court on civil suit of minority "YUKOS" shareholders against Russian Federation.
Notification that "Rosneft" head is an appellee by this claim was handed to him in London, where he participates in Interntaional oil week. The fact of documents` handing to Bogdanchikov was supported by officer of the Supreme court of England and Wales John Frederick Tolbot.
But "Rosneft" representatives denied the fact of subpoena serving.
The group of 12 American "YUKOS" shareholders brought a suit against Russia and several energy companies, including "Rosneft" and "Gazprom". There are 16 defendants in the suit. The most famous of them are president of "Gazprom" Aleksey Miller, president of "Rosneft" Sergey Bogdanchikov, Russian minister of industry and energy Victor Khristenko, Russian ministry of justice and consular department of Russian Embassy in Washington.
