Iran interested in uranium enrichment in Russia
The speaker of Iranian parliament Gholam Ali Haddad Adel called Russian suggestion on uranium enrichment "an attractive offer" during 2-day visit to Cuba.
He has also announced that Teheran is always ready to discuss nuclear program with Europe and China.
By words of Haddad Adel, the suggestion of Russian side doesn`t prevent Iran to use nuclear energy. The speaker considers that the main cause of increasing pressure on Iran from USA is independence of the country. "If Iran took dictation of USA, they would never protest against Iranian nuclear program", - he noted. Parliamentarians hope Russian authorities will not follow USA example.
Teheran became good friends with Moscow after USA and several European countries threatened to pass Iranian nuclear file to UNO Security Council. To stabilize the situation Moscow suggested uranium enrichment for Iranian atomic power-plants at mutual enterprise situated in Russia. Russian considers other strict measures, such as application of sanctions against Teheran, unacceptable. As Russian minister of interior affairs Sergey Lavrov noted, cruel measures don`t contribute to conflict settlement.
Haddad Adel also informed that Iran supports HAMAS organization, which won election in Palestine recently. By his words, solution of Palestinian problem lies in free and independent choice of people, who live in the country.
