UNO commissar on human rights to visit Beslan
UNO head commissar on human rights Luisa Arbur comes to Russia on Sunday, February 19.
"During official trip, which will last till February 25, Arbur will visit Moscow, St. Petersburg and republics of North Caucasus", - informed counselor of permanent UNO coordination system in Russia Victoria Zotikova.
"On Sunday Arbur will meet with Moscow representatives of UNO system in Russia. On Monday, February 20, Arbur will fly to Ingushetia, where she will meet with president Murat Zyazikov, representatives of non-governmental organizations and visit camp for displaced persons in Gamurzievo settlement", - said Zotikova.
She noted that Arbur will visit Chechnya on February 21 and Beslan (North Osetia) on February 22. UNO commissar will look at school N1, which was attacked by terrorists in September, 2004, and psychological rehabilitation center in Vladikavkaz for victims of terrorist action. Meeting of Arbur and head of North Osetia Taimuraz Mamsurov is planned.
