Russian United Energy System to invest $15 milliards in development
"Russian United Energy System", RJS plans to increase investments in development from $5 to $15 milliards/year in 3-year period.
This was announced by RJS president Anatoly Chubais during Saturday performance in Kazan State University of Energy.
At the same moment he considers that private investments should be directed at development of generating supplies and state investments - of network companies.
After meeting with Tatarstan president Mintimir Shaimiev the head of "United Energy System of Russia", RJS has announced about Initial Public Offering of additional share issue of at least 2-3 generative companies in nearest 1.5-2 years. Therefore, $2.5-3 milliard investments can be attracted. RJS will finish selection of companies, which will be subjected to IPO, within 2-3 weeks and introduce official suggestion to Russian government.
