Double deck buses to appear in Moscow
Double deck passenger buses will come into service of overland Moscow transport in 2006. This was reported by first vice-mayor in Moscow government, head of Municipal service complex Petr Aksenov.
"There was a suggestion to buy double deck buses "Neoplan" for Moscow public service. They are shorter than customary "Ikarus" buses but are preferable in capacity", - said Aksenov.
"99% of all machinery produced in Russia", - said Aksenov noting that buses are assembled in Tushino and Likinsk plants and trams - in Ust-Kataevsk plant.
