Svetlana Zhurova won heat for 500 meters in World Cup
Russian Svetlana Zhurova won race on distance of 500 meters in Skating World Cup in Dutch Herenven town.
Her result is 38.01 seconds. As a reminder, the day before she demonstrated only 9-th result on distance of 1000 meters.
The second place on 500 m distance took Jenny Wolf from Germany (38.36) and third result demonstrated representative of South Korea San Hva Li (38.47).
Talking about other Russian sportswomen Svetlana Kaikan became 14-th (39.64) and Yulia Nemaya - 17-th (39.83). 18 sportswomen participated in the heat.
South Korean sportsman Kan Seok Li became a World Champion in the same distance among men (34.98). The second place took Canadian Jeremy Waterspoon (35.07) and third - Finn Pekka Koskela (35.20).
Best Russian skater Dmitriy Dorofeev demonstrated 4-th time (35.23). And Russian Dmitriy Lobkov took 11-th place (35.59) out of 19 participants.
