Commissioner Brazil in the IMF considers it risky to lend Ukraine


Commissioner Brazil in the international monetary Fund (IMF) warned that the Fund is at risk to repeat the same mistake as with Greece, providing credit Ukraine, informs the night on Wednesday.

The Executive Director of the IMF in Brazil, controlling its activities in ten other countries, Paulo Nogueira Batista, said that the program is on loan to Kyiv " has drawbacks, or at least raises questions ".

Batista believes that in the case of Ukraine, as before with Greece, the Fund has to deal not with facts but with hope ".

" The success of this program depends largely on political solution to the conflict in the East of Ukraine, which requires cooperation, not confrontation, between Kiev and the capital of Russia, " said Baptiste.

The IMF on the last working day of the week blesed allocation of the second tranche of the stabilization loan to Ukraine in the amount of 1, 39 billion dollars. 1st tranche 3 $ 2 billion Kyiv received in may. A total difficulties IMF blesed the allocation of Ukraine of 17 billion dollars to stabilize the budget in terms of political and economic decline.

The Fund had previously stated that the Ukrainian authorities may require additional external financing in 19 billion under the adverse scenario, and the continued fighting in the East of the country in 2015.
