Because of sanctions against Russia, the economy of Slovakia will slow down the rate of increase

The Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic has reduced the forecast increase of economy of the Republic from 3% to 2, 6% reduction was influenced by the anti-punishment EU and countermeasures from the Russian Federation, said on Thursday at a press conference in Bratislava, the Minister of Finance of the Slovak Republic Peter Kazimir.
" the reduction in forecast economic growth of 2015 to 2, 6% is the state of our key partners, this indirect effect of punishment, " said Casimir.
In early summer, his Ministry was set up on prospects of development of national economy no less optimistic, claiming 3%growth in 2015. Anyway, the Minister considers the current year, on the whole, successful, as in 2013, economic growth was only 0, 9%. However, one of the main indicators, the level of unemployment, while still very high, reaching 13, 5%. This year the number of jobs required to increase to an estimated 20 thousand.
The US and EU do not recognize the annexation of Crimea to Russia and accused Moscow of interfering in Ukraine. Russia denies it and calls the accusations are unacceptable. Western countries since March has repeatedly imposed punishment on a number of Russian politicians, businessmen and organizations and threatened to make wider restrictive measures. The last case of the use of such practices began in September punishment.
