Moldova, Ukraine and Poland discussed the prospects of cooperation
The head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, the Prime Minister of Moldova Iurie Lance and head of Poland Bronislaw Komorowski discussed prospects of mutual cooperation, said on Thursday on the Internet office of the Ukrainian President.
Polish and Ukrainian presidents are in Moldova with an official visit.
" Special attention was paid to discussion of topical issues of Ukrainian-Moldovan-Polish relations, such as the intensification of exchange of political views at the highest level, and the development of trilateral cooperation ", - said in the report.
Poroshenko positively assessed the current status of the Ukrainian-Moldovan cooperation and said that the implementation of the agreements Union with the EU opens up fresh opportunities for Ukraine and Moldova in establishing mutually beneficial cooperation.
The interlocutors also discussed the issues of energy independence of Ukraine and Moldova and European energy security. This was a continuation of the agreements that were reached at the conference " Visegrad four ", said the press service.
Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine on June 27, signed the Association agreement with the EU.
