Coordination Council of culture starts in St. Petersburg
2-days meeting will be held under the chairmanship of Ministry of Culture head Aleksandr Sokolov.
In Council meeting will participate delegates of Federation Council and State Duma, members of government, representatives of president machinery, governors of some Russian regions and also heads of federal culture administration.
During session Aleksandr Sokolov intend to speak about problems in realization of local self-government in culture.
The head of Rusculture Michael Shvidkov will report about principles of projects to Federal program "Russian Culture" selection.
Realization of federal law "About objects of cultural heritage", project of law "About patrons and patron activity" are a basis for discussion.
First meeting of Coordination Council of culture was held on March 14, 2005 in Russian Academy of State service.
