Amnesty international urged Kiev to release the journalist Cocabo
International non-governmental organization Amnesty international demands the immediate release of Ukrainian journalist Ruslan Cocabo detained by the police of the country on suspicion of treason, shall be notified to the organization.
The head of Amnesty international in Ukraine Tetyana Mazur reported that the arresting Cocabo, the Kyiv authorities have violated the human right to phrase their opinions.
"To the position Ruslan Kotabi can be treated differently. But arresting him for the phrase civil position, the Ukrainian government violates the fundamental human right to freedom of expression ", - said the leader of Amnesty international in Ukraine.
Mazur also stated that the organization recognizes Ruslan Cocabo a prisoner of conscience and agitating the Ukrainian authorities to release the journalist.
