Biography Grigory Ivanovich Rossolimo
(1860-1928) - Russian neurologist and psychologist. In order to diagnose individual mental properties has developed a methodology to quantify, which gives a holistic view of personality. Identified eleven mental processes, to-rye, in turn, were divided into five groups: attention, responsiveness, will, memory, associative processes (imagination, thinking). For each of these processes were offered the job, depending on the performance to-ryh evaluated at a certain scale of 'strength' of each of the processes. The amount of positive responses pointed to the corresponding point chart; connection points to give 'psychological profile' of individual. Assignments varied categories of subjects (for children, adults, intelligent, adult uncultured). R. also proposed a formula for the transfer of profiles with a graphical language for arithmetic. Based on this methodology, developed questions about the types of mental personalities, mental retardation, diagnosis of pathological symptoms related to the field of mental ( 'psychological profiles', 1910).
